These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ZeroNoise and our services. By using ZeroNoise, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

1. Account Terms

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ZeroNoise. If under 18, you need parental permission. By registering, you confirm you meet these requirements.

Your Account

  • You're responsible for your account security and all activity under it
  • Provide accurate information and keep it updated
  • Don't share accounts or credentials
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

2. Acceptable Use

You May

  • Create curators for personal or business research
  • Share public curators with the community
  • Subscribe to others' public curators
  • Export your data anytime

You May Not

  • Violate laws or regulations
  • Infringe intellectual property rights
  • Distribute malware or harmful code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Scrape or automate access without permission
  • Manipulate metrics or create fake accounts
  • Use the service for illegal content monitoring
  • Reverse engineer or copy our technology

3. Content and Ownership

Your Content

You retain ownership of curator configurations, instructions, and other content you create. You grant us a license to use this content solely to provide our services to you and improve our platform.

Generated Content

AI-generated briefs are created for you based on your instructions. You may use them for any lawful purpose. We don't claim ownership of generated content.

Third-Party Content

We aggregate content from sources you specify. We don't own this content. Original sources retain their rights. Your use must comply with their terms.

Public Curators

When you make a curator public, you allow others to view, subscribe to, and clone it. You can make it private anytime, but existing subscribers retain access to past briefs.

4. AI Services and Accuracy

ZeroNoise uses AI from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and xAI to process content and generate briefs. Important limitations:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • Always verify important information from original sources
  • We don't guarantee completeness or timeliness
  • AI interpretation may differ from human understanding
  • Service availability depends on third-party AI providers

5. Payment and Billing

Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • Cancel anytime; access continues until period ends
  • No refunds for partial periods
  • Price changes take effect on next renewal

Usage Limits

Plans include limits on curators, sources, and brief generation. Exceeding limits may result in service restrictions until upgraded or next billing cycle.

6. Privacy and Data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. Key points:

  • We don't sell your personal information
  • You control your data and can export or delete it
  • We use encryption and security best practices

7. Service Availability

We strive for reliability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

  • Perform maintenance with or without notice
  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Impose usage limits to ensure quality
  • Suspend accounts violating these Terms

8. Intellectual Property

ZeroNoise and its technology are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Don't copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. WE'RE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of others' rights.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement anytime. We may suspend or terminate immediately for Terms violations. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the service ends
  • You remain liable for charges incurred
  • You may export your data within 30 days
  • We may delete your data after 30 days

12. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before formal proceedings, contact us at legal@zeronoise.ai to resolve disputes informally.

Arbitration

Disputes not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration under JAMS rules, except you may pursue claims in small claims court if eligible.

No Class Actions

All disputes must be brought individually, not as part of any class or representative action.

13. General Terms

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Delaware law, excluding conflict of law provisions.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our services.

Modifications

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email or service announcement.

Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains valid.

Assignment

You can't assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition.

14. Beta Features

Features marked "beta" or "experimental" are provided as-is without warranties. We may modify or remove them anytime without notice.
